I've been working with SVG files for a while now — icons, logos, illustrations — and changing colors used to be such a pain. Either you dig into raw XML code and manually swap hex values, or you fire up heavy software just to change one fill color. Neither feels right when you're in a rush. A few weeks back I came across a free browser-based SVG Recolor tool and honestly it changed how I handle this completely. It reads every unique color in your file individually — fills, strokes, inline styles — shows them as clickable swatches, and lets you swap each one live on the canvas. On top of that there are global sliders for Hue, Saturation, Brightness and Temperature if you want to shift the whole mood at once. Smart palette generation, full undo history, and a clean download with no watermarks. No login, no software, nothing to install. If you're still editing SVG colors the hard way, you're wasting time you don't need to waste.
