I walked into my warehouse in Ajman this morning and just stood there looking at how inefficiently everything is arranged, and I finally admitted to myself that I've been ignoring this problem for way too long. I've got boxes stacked in weird configurations because nothing fits together nicely, empty gaps in some spots while other areas are overflowing, and I'm pretty sure I'm paying for way more square footage than I actually need to be using. I came across an article talking about how standardizing packaging sizes can make storage so much more efficient because everything stacks neatly and you can actually plan out your zones instead of constantly playing Tetris with whatever random box dimensions come in. It makes so much sense when I think about it but I'm kicking myself for not realizing sooner that a lot of my space problems come down to the fact that I've been stocking twenty different box sizes when I could probably get by with half that. Anyone else had that moment where you realize you've been paying rent on space you don't actually need to be using?
