One of the most popular weekend routes from Delhi, here's the full picture.

Distance: ~280 km via NH48 | Drive time: 4.5–5.5 hrs (traffic-dependent)

Route: Delhi → Gurgaon → Manesar → Dharuhera → Shahjahanpur → Kotputli → Jaipur

Optional stop: Neemrana Fort (~120 km mark) — worth 45 minutes if your group enjoys heritage.

Tips:

  • Leave before 7 AM on weekends — NH48 gets heavy post-Gurgaon after 9 AM
  • Fuel up near Manesar; petrol stations get crowded around Shahjahanpur
  • Avoid returning Sunday evening — brutal traffic near Gurgaon
Cost for 12-seater:

  • Rental: ₹3,500–4,500 one way (market rate, 2025)
  • Fuel separately or included depending on operator
For a group of 8–12 people planning a Jaipur weekend, a tempo traveller in Jaipur booked round-trip usually saves 30–40% versus app-based cabs, plus you control departure timing completely.
