Are online casino review sites useful anymore, or just noise?

I’ve been trying to pick a new online casino and figured I’d do some research first. That quickly turned into scrolling through pages of reviews that all seem to follow the same formula. Big bonus up top, lots of praise, very few downsides, and a clear push to sign up as soon as possible.

What I find frustrating is how little of this matches real play. Reviews rarely talk about how long withdrawals actually take, how strict verification can be, or whether bonuses are even worth using once you read the fine print. Those details only seem to come out after you’ve already committed.

After checking several sources, I tried to focus on sites that at least compare casinos in a more practical way. In the middle of that process I landed on https://casinoslоts.co.nz/, which felt more focused on usability and local relevance rather than just ranking everything as “top choice.” It didn’t answer every question, but it was more helpful than the usual hype-heavy lists.

At this stage, I mostly treat reviews as a rough filter and then look for player comments or forum discussions to fill in the gaps. Curious how others here handle this. Do you still use review sites when choosing a casino, or have you stopped trusting them altogether? And what information do you think reviews should include but almost never do?
